# Referrals

> Share your LightSwap link and earn 0.25% of referred swap volume in USDC. Here's exactly how it works.

Every account has a referral link. When someone opens your link and completes a swap, you earn **0.25% of their swap volume, paid in USDC**.

## Get your link

1. Sign in and open **Account → Referrals**.
2. Copy your link. It looks like `https://lightswap.me/?ref=ls_...`.
3. Share it anywhere: a message, a post, your website.

## The rules, plainly

* **Attribution lasts 30 days.** Someone who opens your link today and swaps within 30 days counts as your referral.
* **First link wins.** If a visitor already has a referrer, the first referrer stays assigned. A later link doesn't replace it.
* **These swaps count:** public website swaps, account swaps, and widget swaps started from your link.
* **Partner API swaps don't count.** Those earn the partner's commission instead.
* **Your referrals pay nothing extra.** The reward comes out of LightSwap's side, not their rate. They get no bonus either; the reward is yours.

## Claiming

Rewards collect in your referral balance after each completed swap. Once you reach **10 USDC**, you can claim. The payout lands in your LightSwap account balance, where you can withdraw it, swap it, or put it in [Earn](/account/earn).

The Referrals page shows your available rewards, your total earned, and your payout history.
