# Track your swap

> What each swap status means, how long each stage takes, and where to find your swap page.

The swap page is your tracker. It opens when you create the swap and updates automatically until the payout is done. Bookmark it if you don't want to keep it open. Your order ID is on this page.

## What the statuses mean

**Waiting for your deposit**
We haven't seen your transfer yet. Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown. The page updates as soon as the transfer is detected.

**Deposit detected**
Your transfer is on the network, waiting for confirmations. Most pauses happen here. Busy networks confirm slowly, and there's nothing to fix on your side.

**Swap in progress**
The deposit is confirmed. The swap is executing and the payout is being prepared.

**Swap completed**
The payout was sent to your address. If your wallet doesn't show it yet, give the destination network a few minutes to confirm, and make sure your wallet displays that token.

## When something else shows

Four statuses mean the swap needs attention:

* **Quote expired**: the time window ran out. Don't send to the old deposit details. Start a new swap.
* **Deposit needs attention**: the transfer needs manual review. Keep the order ID and contact support if it doesn't clear.
* **Swap failed**: the swap couldn't complete. The page shows the reason.
* **Swap refunded**: your deposit was sent back. Check the page for the final details.

Each of these is covered in [Troubleshooting](/swaps/troubleshooting).

## How long is normal

Most swaps finish within minutes after your deposit confirms. Cross-chain swaps take longer because two blockchains are involved. A BTC payout, for example, waits on Bitcoin's confirmations, which are slower than most networks.

If your swap sits in one status far longer than that, see [Troubleshooting](/swaps/troubleshooting) or [contact support](/support) with your order ID and transaction hash.
