A public swap moves coins from your wallet to your wallet. An account swap converts tokens already sitting in your LightSwap balance. Because the funds are already here, there’s no deposit address and no waiting for deposit confirmations.

How it works

  1. Open your account and go to Exchange Crypto.
  2. Pick the token you send and the token you receive. Both come from your balance.
  3. Enter the amount and review the quote.
  4. Confirm. The new token lands in your balance.

Which one should you use?

Use a public swap when your coins are in your own wallet and you want the payout back in your wallet. No account needed. Use an account swap when the funds are already in your LightSwap balance, for example after a referral payout or a previous deposit. It saves you a withdrawal and a new deposit.
